Introduction

The POS system for the Bookstore was designed to help with the increasing flow of traffic particularly at the beginning of the semester. The institution looked for third party solutions but was unable to find a system that integrated with the ERP the way that was needed.

In addition, the cheapest system quoted was in excess of $100,000 with ongoing annual fees.
